Playin' at the Park

Nothing beats pure, unplugged family time away from everything and playing outside. Joel is pretty good on the bubblegum pink trick scooter, non?(See, Heather you're practicing your francais by reading my blog! Oui, oui!) The scooting, climbing, wrestling, the goofiness, the ganging up on Daddy...Dashiell could barely contain himself he sooo wanted in on the action, and I'm sure he'll be in on it all too soon. Swinging, sliding, rolling down hills, watching a mama duck and her ducklings...So. Much. Fun.

Crazy Hair Day

Seleia went for four buns and a headband. Amarra was rockin' the uneven pigtails, one straight, one curly, and a braid down the back. Elora gave me very precise directions for a series of 4 curly, sparkly mohawk-style ponytails down the center of her head. There were colors, sparkles, headbands, wigs and all manner of craziness in the air as the girls learned, sang and played beach games. Good summer fun! (Is it wrong that this is all making me want to take off for the actual beach??)
