Every June, the girls look forward to participating in the Planters Days Children's Parade. They love waving to the crowd and throwing candy to the children that come to watch. They begin at one end of the main street downtown and walk to the lake, smiling from ear to ear and waving like Miss America. This year Elora went as Bo Peep, Amarra as Tinkerbell, and Seleia chose "rock star" for her costume. Dashiell was along for the ride and just chilled in the wagon, taking it all in. We brought Seleia's friend Mia along with us and did her hair and makeup in rock star style, too. And no Planters Days would be complete, of course, without some time chatting with the princesses and a smile for the camera.
